My “Cute Little Axolotl Collection” is a series of character experiments exploring texture, family narratives, and environment building. I used Blender to bring these whimsical creatures to life, focusing on a tactile, “hand-crafted” feel, from the soft, clay-like grain on the character models to the vibrant, flat-shaded underwater scenes.
The collection ranges from individual 3D character busts with deep, cinematic eye reflections to heartwarming “character moments” like the Father’s Day-inspired axolotl family. My goal was to create a cohesive set of assets that feel tangible and inviting, perfect for storytellers, game developers, or brands looking for a charming, narrative-driven aesthetic. Each piece in this series is an exercise in how soft lighting and playful shapes can turn a simple model into a small world worth sitting in.
Interested in a custom character series, have a question about my process, or just want to say hi? I’d love to hear from you.
